Peace Through Equality was the brainchild of attorneys Kamal Nawash and Amal Saffouri to advocate for creating an Equal Rights solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The organization firmly believes that the only path to lasting peace is through full equality, ensuring that Palestinians and Israelis share a united country as equal citizens. The mission of Peace Through Equality is to address the historical injustices and systemic inequalities that have perpetuated the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The organization is committed to promoting a vision of a single, democratic state where all citizens-regardless of ethnicity, religion, or national origin-enjoy equal rights, protections, and opportunities. For over a century, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has resulted in suffering, displacement, and division. Previous attempts at a two-state solution have failed to resolve the underlying issues, particularly the ongoing inequality between Israelis and Palestinians. Peace Through Equality argues that a just resolution can only be achieved by dismantling systemic discrimination and granting Palestinians the same rights as Israeli citizens.
