Its location puts it in an area that was lacking an Islamic Center or any Muslim influence, and we felt that this location was needed not only for the Muslim community but for everyone in the area in order to build a strong multicultural, coexistent community on the South Shore of Staten Island. It also has easy and quick access to major highways that can lead you almost anywhere, making it convenient for anyone to drive right off the highway and into our parking lot. ICSI serves the Muslim South Shore Community along with other neighboring areas from Staten Island, New Jersey, and Brooklyn.
