Masjid Al-Rasheed is a 501(c) religious organization in Baldwin, NY following the Quran and Sunnah committed to serving its people. This Masjid provides the means of religious, social, and educational development and enrichment. Whether you were born a Muslim, are a new Muslim, or not a Muslim, we invite you to come to the Masjid and engage yourself in the activities and enhance your knowledge of Islam. By the Mercy of Allah S.W.T we were able to purchase the property for Masjid Al- Rasheed late January 2020. This property was originally a hardware store and was not in shape to be utilized as a Masjid, thus Friday Congregational Prayer was being held in a separate hall, American Legion Hall Baldwin. Due to Covid19 Pandemic restrictions the Masjid was not open to the public for Salah/Jumu’ah. On Eid ul Fitr of 2020 we were finally able to have open congregation for public and from then on hold daily prayers. We bought this property with great hopes and visions for the Masjid and the Muslim Community.
